Pins & Spacers

Dowel pins locate parts to one another; stepped pins carry parts that rotate or pivot; spacers hold set distances inside an assembly. They are small components with outsized consequences — a pin that is off-size or burred either will not assemble or will not hold position under load.

We turn pins and spacers to drawing with precise chamfers and stepped profiles, in steels, stainless, aluminium, or brass as specified. Chamfer form matters more than it looks: it is what lets a press-fit pin start square and seat without shaving its bore. Every batch is verified against the drawing before dispatch, with the first component inspected on the critical diameters and lengths.

These parts are usually needed in quantity, so send the drawing with your batch size and delivery expectation and we will quote accordingly. Repeat batches run against the same identified drawing revision — useful when pins and spacers recur across maintenance cycles.
